Welcome to PixelSenseis ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the PixelSenseis website, services, and any photography or videography services provided, including cosplay-related shoots. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Governing Law (Singapore)

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, including but not limited to:

• Contract Law of Singapore

• Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA)

• Copyright Act 2021

• Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA)

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

2. Services

PixelSenseis provides photography and videography services, specialising in cosplay, events, portraits, and related creative projects.

All services are subject to availability, confirmation, and acceptance by PixelSenseis.

3. Booking & Payment

• All bookings are confirmed only upon written confirmation and/or receipt of payment.

• Deposits, if required, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

• Full payment must be made according to the agreed schedule prior to or on the day of the shoot.

• Prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise specified.

4. Cosplay Rules & Boundaries

To ensure safety, legality, and a respectful working environment, clients agree to the following cosplay-related rules:

4.1 Legal & Venue Compliance

• All costumes, props, and accessories must comply with Singapore laws and venue regulations.

• No real weapons, modified weapons, or illegal items are permitted.

• Prop weapons must be clearly identifiable as props and may be subject to venue approval.

4.2 Safety & Public Conduct

• Clients are responsible for ensuring their cosplay does not pose a safety risk to themselves, the photographer, or the public.

• PixelSenseis reserves the right to stop or refuse a shoot if a cosplay or behaviour is deemed unsafe, illegal, or disruptive.

4.3 Content Boundaries

• PixelSenseis does not provide photography services involving explicit sexual content, illegal activities, or content that violates Singapore law.

• Any specific poses, themes, or boundaries must be discussed and agreed upon prior to the shoot.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Clients must arrive on time and prepared for the shoot.

• Clients are responsible for their own costumes, makeup, props, and personal belongings.

• Any permits, permissions, or location fees required for a shoot are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Artistic Style & Editing

• PixelSenseis retains full creative discretion over shooting style, composition, lighting, and post-processing.

• Final edited images will reflect PixelSenseis’ artistic style.

• Requests for extensive re-edits beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

7. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

7.1 Copyright Ownership

• All photographs and videos produced by PixelSenseis remain the copyright property of PixelSenseis, in accordance with the Singapore Copyright Act 2021, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.2 Client Usage

• Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the delivered images for personal, non-commercial purposes, including social media and portfolios, unless otherwise agreed.

• Commercial usage requires prior written consent and may be subject to additional fees.

7.3 PixelSenseis Usage Rights

• PixelSenseis reserves the right to use images and videos for:

  • Portfolio

  • Website and blog content

  • Social media

  • Marketing, promotions, and self-advertising

  • Competitions and exhibitions

If a client wishes to restrict usage, this must be agreed upon in writing prior to the shoot.

8. Personal Data & PDPA Compliance

• Personal data collected will be handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.

• Client information will be used solely for communication, service delivery, and administrative purposes.

• PixelSenseis will not disclose personal data to third parties without consent unless required by law.

9. Liability & Assumption of Risk

9.1 General Liability

• Photography sessions may involve physical movement, outdoor environments, crowds, or props.

• Clients participate at their own risk and agree that PixelSenseis shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered during or after the shoot, except where caused by PixelSenseis’ proven negligence.

9.2 Equipment Damage

• Clients shall be responsible for any loss or damage to PixelSenseis’ photography or videography equipment caused by:

  • Client negligence

  • Accidental contact due to unsafe behaviour

  • Damage caused by costumes, props, liquids, or third parties under the client’s control

• PixelSenseis shall not be liable for equipment damage arising from factors beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, crowd interference, or venue restrictions.

10. Force Majeure

PixelSenseis shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather conditions, government restrictions, venue closures, or public disturbances.

11. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellation or rescheduling policies will be communicated at the time of booking.

• Deposits are generally non-refundable.

• PixelSenseis reserves the right to reschedule or cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable notice provided where possible.

12. Termination of Service

PixelSenseis reserves the right to refuse or terminate services without refund if:

• A client breaches these Terms & Conditions

• Behaviour is abusive, unsafe, or unlawful

• Requests violate legal, ethical, or professional standards

13. Amendments

PixelSenseis reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this website and shall take effect immediately upon publication.
